I guess what I find funny, is that that amount of time has passed and they still have the same opinion. I mean even friends that I am still friends with after 3 years, i love them to death, but I know that they don’t walk on air. In 3 years that illusion get shattered.
I have no doubt that they’re a saint, it’s more disbelief at his behavior. But not everyone’s experience was like mine apparently.
So that's about your ex? Is he like not helping or supporting this expo thing? I thought your mentor was also his mentor. That fucking sucks if he isn't helping out. Not to be rude but your ex already sounds like a douchebag and self involved so if he's not helping then he's pretty much a deadbeat and when it comes time for him to return all of the good things done for him he isn't interested because it's not all about him. He sounds narcissistic. But good for your mentor. Sounds really cool!!
AnonymousWell, on that account, i’m not sure. I’ve never seen him to be a proactive person, but i can’t say for sure that he isn’t helping with this. I doubt it though, truth be told. I’d imagine he’d commit to coming..if someone would commit to picking his ass up, taking him down here, and letting him stay with them, and then taking him back when it’s all over.
That’s just based off what I know about him, but i really don’t know. I haven’t heard anything, so I’d assume, if he is helping, it isn’t noteworthy.
But yeah, i’m really hoping it turns out to be cool! :) it has promise, and i’d love to meet the other traceurs in AZ!! And it’d be held down in my side of the Valley, so i wouldn’t have to haul my butt anywhere to go to it!! :3

AnonymousI think everyone in general. Well, more worried I guess.. He’s putting together all of this stuff, a 2 day jam, and whenever he asks people whether they’ll come, they are like ‘i don’t know..’ or ‘i’ll see that week’.
So he’s doing this for everyone, but they’re all kind of blowing him off.
It would really suck if like 6 people show up to this expo, and i think that would be the last thing he would ever really do to help promote AZ parkour.
I know, i’m sorry this is always confusing, but it’s a combo of not using names, and my own confusion. Most of what I know is from conversations I have with friends, not really fact sheets, so my information can be incomplete, and i have to fill them in to post them here.
I will probably know more as the event gets closer, and i will post more about it then. This was just the first sign of trouble that i’m seeing, so i’m prepared for the shit-storm

AnonymousHaha, sort of, my mentor guy is trying to set up a huge Parkour Expo, and he’s kind of angry with the state for complaining that there’s nothing here, but then when someone puts something together, nobody wants to help out!
I’m just hoping it doesn’t explode, cause he will rip people a new one if it doesn’t end up working out well.
